Terms of Use

1. What GymAssist is

GymAssist is a strength training log: set logging, a muscle load map, stats, a recovery forecast, ready-made programs, body measurements, nutrition and a coach mode for working with clients. It runs in the browser and as a Telegram Mini App. We keep developing it, so features appear, change and occasionally go away.

2. Access and price

• Founder seats. The first 500 accounts get a founder seat: every GymAssist feature is free for them with no time limit — for as long as the service runs. A seat belongs to the account and cannot be passed to someone else.
• Other accounts get a free trial of 60 days. We will announce paid terms in advance, and you will see the price before paying. Nothing is ever charged without your explicit action: we do not collect payment details.
• A coach’s client uses the service free of charge while their coach has access.
• The no-sign-up demo lasts 7 days, then the temporary account and its data are deleted.

3. Your account

• One account per person. Use a real email address: account recovery emails go there.
• Keep your password secret. Anything done from your account counts as done by you until you tell us it was compromised.
• Email sign-in and Telegram sign-in can be linked into one account.

4. Health and safety

GymAssist is a tracking tool, not a medical service and not a substitute for a coach or a doctor. Weight suggestions, programs, load and the recovery forecast are for information only and come from simplified models. Talk to a doctor before you start training, and whenever you are ill, injured, pregnant or unsure. You are responsible for your choice of load, your technique and your safety while training.

5. For coaches

• Coach mode is a tool for tracking your work with clients. You agree your services, prices and payments with your clients directly; no money passes through GymAssist, and payment records are your own notes.
• Clients decide themselves whether to join a coach and can leave at any time. A coach sees a client’s data read-only and uses it only to work with that client.
• The coach is responsible for the content of their programs, nutrition plans and advice.

6. Your data and content

Everything you log is yours. You allow us to store and process it to the extent needed to run the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. We use anonymised aggregate numbers — such as how many workouts were logged in a week — to improve the service. You can request a copy of your records through Support.

7. What you must not do

• Try to access other people’s accounts or data, bypass the service’s limits, or look for and exploit vulnerabilities to cause harm.
• Flood the service with automated requests or scrape it.
• Send spam, or put unlawful or abusive material, or other people’s personal data without their consent, into notes, messages or a profile.
• Resell access to the service.

8. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it running and your data safe (we back it up every night), but we cannot guarantee it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or the consequences of your training. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law.

9. Ending the agreement

• You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account with all its data.
• We may block an account that breaks these terms; in unclear cases we will write to you first.
• If we ever decide to shut GymAssist down, we will notify all users at least 30 days in advance and send a copy of your records on request.

10. Changes to these terms

A new version is published on this page with its date. We will announce material changes — especially about price — in the app in advance. Founder seat terms are never changed for the worse.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Russian Federation. We first try to settle any dispute by writing to each other — reach us by email at admin@gymassist.space, through Support inside the app, or through the feedback form at the bottom of the home page. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country still apply to you.
